Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order does not automatically mean it has been accepted. An order is accepted only after product availability, prescription requirements, price, payment and delivery details have been verified and confirmation has been communicated to the customer.

Orange Chemist may refuse or cancel an order because of product unavailability, incorrect pricing or listing information, prescription or regulatory restrictions, suspected misuse or fraud, delivery limitations, unsuccessful verification, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. If payment has already been collected for a cancelled order, an eligible refund will be initiated.

Pricing and payment

Prices are stated in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without prior notice. The price confirmed when an order is accepted will apply. Available payment methods will be communicated during checkout or order confirmation.

Prescriptions

Prescription-only medicines will be supplied only after a valid prescription has been reviewed and accepted by a licensed pharmacist. Additional restrictions may apply to controlled medicines.

Product availability and substitution

All products are subject to availability. If a product is unavailable, we may contact the customer regarding cancellation, an alternative pack size or another legally permitted option. A prescribed medicine will not be substituted without appropriate confirmation or authorisation wherever required.

The Orange Chemist name, logo, website design, text, graphics and other original material may not be copied, reproduced or used without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Liability and consumer rights

Orange Chemist remains responsible for obligations that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to applicable law, Orange Chemist is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer, improper use or storage of a product, failure to follow medical advice, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights.
